Why this book, and not another

There are hundreds of books on spirituality. Most of them go in circles. They rephrase, they interpret, they dilute.
The Kybalion goes to the source.

This text contains the fundamental teachings of Hermes Trismegistus — the one the ancient Egyptians called “the Great of the Great” and “the Master of Masters.” A contemporary of Abraham according to tradition, teacher of the sages of India and Greece, Hermes is the central sun of all occult knowledge.
Every serious doctrine, every initiatory tradition, every religion — whether it acknowledges it or not — rests on the principles he laid down thousands of years ago.

This is not a book of opinions.
It is an exposition of the laws that structure the universe, and that include man.
All the great doctrines, all religions, all serious philosophical currents rest, whether they know it or not, on these same principles.

The seven principles that govern everything

The Kybalion sets out seven fundamental laws. Seven. No more. And with these seven keys, you open every door:

1. Mentalism — The All is Mind. The entire universe is a mental creation. Understanding this means understanding why your thought has a direct power over your reality.
2. Correspondence — As above, so below. The same laws operate at every level of existence, from the visible to the invisible.
3. Vibration — Nothing is still. Everything vibrates. The difference between matter, energy and spirit is only a difference in vibratory frequency.
4. Polarity — Everything is dual. Heat and cold, light and darkness, love and hate are not opposites — they are the two extremes of a single thing.
5. Rhythm — Everything rises and falls. Everything has its tides. To understand rhythm is to stop being its victim.
6. Cause and Effect — Nothing happens by chance. Every effect has its cause, every cause produces its effect. Those who understand this law stop being pawns and become players.
7. Gender — Gender manifests in everything. The masculine and the feminine are present on every plane of existence, and their balance is the condition of all creation.

The link with my work
