Health and harmony in human life. Albert-Louis Caillet, Paris, Vigot Frères, 1912 — text established by Éditions Pongh!.
Mental Treatment and Spiritual Culture is a work by Albert-Louis Caillet, published in Paris by Vigot Frères in 1912. In it Caillet sets out a method of psychic development and of treatment by thought, in 534 numbered paragraphs, arranged in three parts: the laws of the invisible, psychic culture, and the psychic methods of healing.
The volume runs from Hermes Trismegistus and the Kybalion, from Thought and from God and Man, to Psychic culture — Yoga, the Gaze, Attention, Mental concentration, the Development of the will, Nutrition, the General care of the body — then to the history and practice of Mesmerism, Magnetism, Hypnotism and Suggestion, and to the methods of Mental treatment proper — those of Doctor Hudson, of Bishop Sabin, of Yogi Ramacharaka — through to Spiritual treatment and Self-treatment.
This edition establishes the 1912 text from the digitisation by the Bibliothèque nationale de France (Gallica, ark:/12148/bpt6k759781), without modernising the spelling, the punctuation or the author’s doctrinal capitals. It includes a table of contents and an index of names. It is the second title in the Éditions Pongh! collection, after the volume on Hermes Trismegistus.
