You have tried. Tried a great deal.

You have consulted. Perhaps several therapists, over several years. You have done EMDR, cognitive therapies, sometimes more intensive retreats. You know how to name what is wrong.

And yet, something in you is still not repaired. The same thoughts return. The same blockages reappear in another form, but it is exactly the same thing.

The problem is not your history. It is your structure.

What resists is not the events of your life. It is the mechanisms that settled around them and that keep running even when the events are far behind you.

Seeing it directly, in its exact logic, in silence, without interference — that is what dismantles it. This is precisely what ordinary life never allows. To see what truly inhabits you, you must step entirely out of the flow — and this is very difficult to do alone.

A room at the Centre EPÉU

The residential programme

Six days in complete withdrawal, at the Centre EPÉU. Private room. Twenty-one hours a day alone, without phone, without screen, without outside contact. Specific nutrition. Total silence. Complete physiological sobriety.

And each day, sessions in person with Mischa Harmeijer, who personally directs your restructuring.

This method is taught nowhere else. The Centre EPÉU is the only place in Europe where the Mental Treatment is delivered in this form.

What this is not

This protocol is not a wellness retreat. Not a relaxing stay. Not a psychotherapy. Not a medical procedure. Mischa Harmeijer does not take charge of your life — he gives you the tools to take it back yourself. The commitment comes from you, entirely, from the first day to the last.

The programme excludes certain situations that require a different kind of support:

In case of suicidal thoughts or immediate risk, this protocol is not suitable. In France, call 15 or 3114. In Belgium, call 112 or 0800 32 123. In Luxembourg, call 112. Elsewhere, contact your country's emergency services.

The first step: an analysis consultation

Admission to the Mental Treatment is never a matter of simple registration. It always begins with an analysis consultation with Mischa Harmeijer, at the Centre or by video call.

During this consultation, Mischa listens, observes, reads the structure you carry. He assesses whether the Mental Treatment is the right response for you, at this precise moment in your life. If it is not, he tells you clearly — and directs you toward what will be more fitting for you.

To prepare for your stay

We recommend reading The Kybalion and the General Overview of Mental Treatment before your stay — they lay the groundwork the programme builds on.

Your request

Describe your situation in the form below. Mischa Harmeijer reads it personally before contacting you to arrange the analysis consultation.

Read only by Mischa Harmeijer.

After the programme

Returning to daily life also calls for preparation. The community ΔDelta-Score, which is free, lets you keep observing what has changed, day after day.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the Mental Treatment last?

Six days, in full residence at the Centre EPÉU.

What is the price?

2 800 €, including private-room accommodation and daily sessions with Mischa Harmeijer.

Is it suitable for everyone?

No. The programme excludes active addictions, perception-altering medication, and ongoing psychiatric care without the referring professional's agreement.

How does admission work?

Admission is never a matter of simple registration. It always begins with an Analysis Consultation with Mischa Harmeijer, at the Centre or by video call.

Do I need to be spiritual, or to have read The Kybalion, to take part in this programme?

Reading The Kybalion before your stay is strongly recommended — it lays useful groundwork for understanding the work. Being spiritually open helps, but the Mental Treatment itself is not a spiritual practice: it is a purely mental, structural method.

How do meals work?

Two meals a day, at noon and 6pm, served directly in the room — no contact is needed. The nutrition is specifically adapted to the mental work carried out during the stay.

Can I keep my phone during the stay?

No. No phone is allowed during the six days of the programme.

Can I speak with other people at the Centre?

No. Silence is total throughout the stay, including toward other people present at the Centre — not only toward the outside world.

Do I need to tidy my room before leaving?

Yes. Each resident tidies and cleans their own room before departure.

Is there physical activity during the programme?

Yes, individual physical activity takes place each day, in your room.

Are there any outings during the programme?

Yes, two individual one-hour walks each day, in addition to the physical activity in the room.

Where does the Mental Treatment take place?

Exclusively at the Centre EPÉU — the only place in Europe where this method is offered in this form.

What is included in the price?

Private-room accommodation, meals and daily sessions with Mischa Harmeijer are included in 2 800 €.

What happens if the Mental Treatment is not suited to my situation?

That is precisely the purpose of the prior analysis consultation: Mischa Harmeijer assesses whether the programme is the right response for you, and if not, tells you clearly and points you toward what will be more suitable.
